Abstract: PURPOSE: A vane control method of a turbo charger is provided to prevent the rotation speed of a turbine and the boost pressure from being excessively increased during repetitively accelerated driving. CONSTITUTION: A vane control method of a turbocharger is as follows. An acceleration counter and a timer are initialized, and the timer is operated. A value of the acceleration counter is increased in case both of the degree of opening of an accelerator and a differential value of the degree of opening of the accelerator pedal are equal to predetermined values. Repetitive acceleration is determined when the timer shows that the time is less than a fixed time, and when the value of the acceleration counter is more than a predetermined acceleration value. A vane control value is compensated to open a vane as much as the predetermined value in case of repetitive acceleration.
