    Abstract: PURPOSE: A rattling noise-preventing apparatus for a manual transmission is provided to prevent rattling noise at idle by absorbing fluctuation of torque with a damper and to prevent driving force of an engine from absorbing by connecting input shafts directly according to a shifting operation. CONSTITUTION: A rattling noise-preventing apparatus for a manual transmission includes input shafts(50), a damper(60) and a direct connecting device. Input shafts receive driving force of an engine. The damper is included between input shafts to absorb fluctuation of torque transferred to input shafts. The direct connecting device connects input shafts directly in shifting. Thereby, fluctuation of torque of the engine is absorbed by the damper at idle because input shaft connects directly by engaging a sleeve(72,74,76,78) to input shafts at the same time in shifting.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An operating apparatus for shifting a gear for a manual transmission is provided to reduce cost, manufacturing and assembling processes by synchronizing shifting moderate feeling and double gearing of a synchronizer in shifting a gear. CONSTITUTION: A shifting rail assembly(60) includes a first to second shifting rail(62); a third to fourth shifting rail(66); a fifth to reverse shifting rail(72); a first plunger(80) and a second plunger(90). The first to second shifting rail shifts first and second gears selectively and has first, neutral and second grooves(62a,62b,62c) on an outer peripheral surface. The third to fourth shifting rail shifts third and fourth gears selectively and has third, neutral and fourth grooves(66a,66b66c) on an outer peripheral surface. The fifth to reverse shifting rail shifts fifth and reverse gears selectively and has fifth and reverse grooves(72a,72b) on an outer peripheral surface. The first plunger is included between grooves of the first to second shifting rail and the third to fourth shifting rail to form moderate feeling when one of the first-second shifting rail and the third to fourth shifting rail is shifted and to constrict movements of the first to second shifting rail and the third to fourth shifting rail when both are shifted. The second plunger is included between grooves of the third to fourth shifting rail and the fifth to reverse shifting rail to form moderate feeling when one of the third-fourth shifting rail and the fifth to reverse shifting rail is shifted and to constrict movements of the third to fourth shifting rail and the fifth to reverse shifting rail when both are shifted. Thereby, double gearing of a synchronizer is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A damper clutch is provided to reduce the rattle and the noise of a transmission by effectively reducing the strength of the spring. CONSTITUTION: A damper spring(26) is connected to a clutch hub(24) through a flexible string(30). The flexible string is rolled in the outer circumference of the clutch hub at a certain angle by rotating a clutch spring case(28). The flexible string is a carbon fiber material of high strength. Thereby, the spring strength is reduced effectively.
