Abstract: Disclosed is a system for displaying a rear image of a vehicle, which changes a direction of a rear image collected by a camera when the reverse driving is selected, and projects virtual reality to windshield glass, an inside mirror, and an outside mirror, thereby providing a driver with a sense of driving the vehicle forward during the reverse driving. The system of the present invention includes an image collecting unit which collects rear and side images of a vehicle; an image processing unit which creates an image of virtual reality which corresponds to a steering direction of a steering wheel by converting the rear and side images collected by the image collecting unit when a reverse gear is selected with a shift lever; and a display unit which provides a driver with a sense of driving the vehicle forward during the reverse driving by displaying the image of virtual reality, which corresponds to the steering direction of the steering wheel, from the image processing unit.
