Abstract: A vehicle position confirming system and a method thereof using the binaural effect are provided to calculate the direction and distance of a vehicle by using the binaural effect and then display the calculated results on a remote controller which a driver carries, thereby easily providing the location of the parked vehicle to the driver. When the transceiving of ultrasonic waves starts between a remote controller and vehicle as a location confirming button of the remote controller is pressed by a user(S302,S304), a controller measures the time which the ultrasonic waves are transceived(S306). The controller measures the time difference between the ultrasonic transceiver and ultrasonic receiver which are equipped at both sides corner of the remote controller(S308), and then calculates the distance between the vehicle and remote controller by using the time difference(S310).
