Abstract: PURPOSE: A vehicle control system is provided so that if a process line fails or a buffer loses its functions, another buffer performs its functions by varying the operation data on other process line, by varying the operation data on a process line operation according to the number of buffers transferring a vehicle and operation status information during process line operation. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle control system comprises first and second lines(10, 12), a plurality of buffers(20~35) and a control system(40). The first and second process lines move a vehicle(1) to connect a part to the vehicle. The buffers transfer the vehicle from the first process line to the second process line. The control system controls the first and second process lines by varying first and second operation data on the operation of the first and second process lines. Abstract: An operating method for a painting color selection buffer is disclosed. The operating method for a painting color selection buffer takes out painting objects on the first row of a lane from a color selecting buffer before a post-painting process to have the same color as other painting objects after a painting process; sets lanes having identically colored painting objects as first taking-out lanes; and sets lanes which take out painting objects on the first row, which is identically colored as the painting objects on the first lane among painting objects on a second row in the diagonal direction, as second taking-out lanes.
