    Abstract: PURPOSE: A variable muffler for an exhaust system of a vehicle is provided to maintain a tone of low noise by restricting exhaust sound in a high RMP area and increasing back pressure. CONSTITUTION: A variable muffler for an exhaust system of a vehicle comprises a case(10), an input pipe(30), an inner pipe(50), an output pipe(70) and a variable valve(90). The case divides the inner space into a first chamber(21), a second chamber(22) and a third chamber(23) through a first barrier(11) and a second barrier(13). The input pipe enters the front of the case, is supported by the first barrier and is connected to the second chamber via the first chamber. The inner pipe is supported on the first and second barriers in the inner space and is connected to the first chamber via the second and third chambers. The output pipe is supported on the first and second barriers in the inner space and is exposed to the rear of the case through the first to third chambers.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise reduction device of an air conditioner system for a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to improve noise of the air conditioner system by opening a bypass fluid path through a valve assembly unit in a creep driving condition of the vehicle, connecting a connection fluid path and the bypass fluid path, and extending a discharge path of the connection fluid path. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction device of an air conditioner system comprises a valve assembly unit(20), an actuator(40), and a controller(60). The valve assembly unit is installed in order to be opened at each bifurcation of a connection fluid path(11) and a bypass fluid path(13). The actuator is connected to the each valve assembly unit and supplies a rotatory force with the valve assembly unit. The controller controls operation of the valve assembly unit by applying a predetermined a control signal to the actuator according to the rotation number of an engine. The controller applies the predetermined control signal to the actuator, and the bypass fluid path is closed through the valve assembly unit in an idle condition of the vehicle.
