    Abstract: A coupling structure for a plastic brake pedal is provided to prevent a brake pedal from striking an occupant on the head upon vehicle collision by allowing a pedal fixing part to move in one direction such that the pedal fixing part is locked to an eccentric locking part, thereby breaking a weak part of the pedal. A coupling structure for a plastic brake pedal comprises a pedal fixing part(3) that allows a brake pedal to be fixed to a dash panel. An upper side of the pedal fixing part is fixed to a cowl mounting bracket(5), which is joined to a vehicle body fixing part, through a fixing bolt. An inclination slot(7) is formed in a coupling surface(6) of the cowl mounting bracket such that the pedal fixing part is fixedly joined to an end of the inclination slot through the fixing bolt. An eccentric locking part(9) is formed while downwardly being bent at an end of the joining surface such that the eccentric locking part is eccentrically locked to the pedal fixing part.

    Abstract: An impact reinforcement structure for a sub-frame of a front vehicle body is provided to protect a driver from steering wheel and steering device through using a fixed bracket. An impact reinforcement structure for a sub-frame of a front vehicle body comprises a joint(20) connected to a steering apparatus, which actuates according to the operation of a driver. The joint penetrates through a dash panel(60). The joint has a certain height and includes a connecting shaft(44), which is mounted to the joint by bolt-coupling using a fixing pin or screw. The connecting shaft fixes a fixing device(40) such that the fixing device is able be connected with a steering shaft(42), which is fixedly mounted on one side of the sub-frame. The sub-frame having the steering shaft mounted thereon is provided with a fixed bracket(50), which is capable of using a sub-frame rear part deformation upon collision while supporting the steering shaft.

    Abstract: A car seat equipped with a shock absorbing pad is provided to absorb impact load at a lateral collision by installing a shock absorbing pad made of harder materials than a seat cushion on a seat side frame. The car seat equipped with a shock absorbing pad comprises a frame(20) placed in a seat along the border shape of a seat, side frames(30) placed on two sides of the frame, cushion foam covering the frame and the side frames and made with urethane foam for comfortable seating, and a shock absorbing pad(50) made with foam materials which are manufactured by increasing 10 times the density of the existing cushion foam and inserted between the side frame and the cushion foam, therefore the impact load of a lateral collision is absorbed by the cushion foam placed between the side frames primarily and the shock absorbing pad between the side frame and the cushion foam secondarily.
