Abstract:
PURPOSE: An exhaust gas reduction device of a vehicle is provided to simultaneously reduce harmful materials, such as particles and gaseous materials, contained in exhaust gas by using a plasma reactor. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas reduction device of a vehicle includes a housing(110), a plurality of flat-type ceramic dielectric members(120), a gap spacer(130), and an electrode plate. The housing(110) is formed at both sides thereof with an inlet(112) and an outlet(114) for intaking/discharging exhaust gas. A cover(116) is formed at an upper portion of the housing(110). The cover(116) is movably fixed to the housing(110) by means of a bolt. A lead line section is mounted on the housing(110) in order to supply high voltage or ground voltage to the electrode plate. The flat-type ceramic dielectric members(120) are installed in the housing(110) along a flow direction of exhaust gas.

PURPOSE: An exhaust gas reduction system for a vehicle mounted with a plasma reactor and a control method of the system are provided to reduce power consumption ratio of the plasma reactor, to stabilize the reactor, and to obtain optimum effect under all driving conditions. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas reduction system for a vehicle mounted with a plasma reactor(10) includes the plasma reactor installed on a side of an exhaust pipe of the vehicle; a power-applying device installed to the vehicle to supply a high-voltage source(20) to make high voltage applied to the plasma reactor; a direct connected pipe(31) forming a passage to make the exhaust gas come into the plasma reactor by connecting the exhaust pipe and the plasma reactor; a bypass passage pipe(32) installed on a side of the direct connected pipe; a control valve(40) ramifying the direct connected pipe and the bypass passage pipe and controlling the flowing of the exhaust gas; and a control unit(50) controlling the power applied to the plasma reactor and the flowing of the exhaust gas. The bypass passage pipe forms a bypass to bypass the exhaust gas to the plasma reactor. In the plasma reactor, toxic substance of the exhaust gas is reduced while the exhaust gas exhausted from the exhaust pipe flows into a plasma range.

플라즈마 반응기가 개시된다. 개시된 플라즈마 반응기는, 가스가 통과되면서 플라즈마 반응으로 상기 가스에 함유된 유해물질이 저감되도록 형성된 플라즈마 영역을 구비하는 플라즈마 반응기에 있어서, 적어도 두 개 이상이 구비되며, 상기 가스가 통과되도록 다수개의 소개구가 형성되며, 외형이 원형으로 이루어진 평판의 제1셀부재와; 상기 제1셀부재의 각 사이에 각각 설치되고, 그 중앙에 상기 가스가 통과되도록 상기 소개구와 연통되며, 상기 소개구보다 큰 대개구가 적어도 하나 형성되며, 상기 제1셀부재와 같이 외형이 원형으로 이루어진 평판의 제2셀부재와; 상기 제1셀부재에 수직 방향과 상기 제1,2셀부재의 가장자리의 상하 수평 방향으로 각각 연장되며 적어도 한 쌍이 설치되어 상기 플라즈마 반응기 내로 고전압이 인가되도록 설치된 전극부재;를 포함하는 것을 그 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 유해물질 저감 효과가 증대되고, 캐닝 제작이 용이하며, 내구성이 향상되는 이점이 있다.

PURPOSE: A flat-dielectric-type plasma reactor is provided to reduce the particulate materials and gaseous materials by making streamer discharge and glow discharge coexistent. CONSTITUTION: A flat-dielectric-type plasma reactor(100) has a space by forming a spacer(30) between one dielectric substance(10) and another dielectric substance(20). A discharge electrode(40) having a through hole(41) is prepared in one dielectric substance. An earth electrode panel(21) is prepared in the other dielectric substance. An electric field is formed between the discharge electrode and the earth electrode panel. Upon increasing voltage higher than the voltage applied from glow discharge, streamer discharge is generated and then glow discharge is formed. Thus, the streamer discharge and glow discharge coexist.

PURPOSE: A plasma reactor is provided to allow for ease of canning and manufacture by improving the structure of the plasma reactor, while achieving improved efficiency of reduction of toxic substances. CONSTITUTION: A plasma reactor(100) comprises a first cell member(110) having a plurality of small openings(111), and which has a circular outer appearance; a second cell member(120) arranged between the first cell members, and which has a large opening(121) communicated to the small openings of the first cell member, wherein the second cell member has a circular outer appearance; and an electrode member(130) extended in a vertical direction from the first cell member and extended in a horizontal direction from the first and second cell members, wherein the electrode member allows a plasma area(140) to be applied with a high voltage.

PURPOSE: A plasma reactor, its production method and an exhaust gas reducer of a vehicle are provided to simultaneously reduce particulate materials and gas, to reduce the power consumption, to prevent the spark transition and to improve the durability. CONSTITUTION: A second dielectric(22) is installed corresponding to a first dielectric(21). Gap spacers(23) are installed between the dielectrics to form a plasma area between the dielectrics. An electrode member(24) and a grounding member(25) generate corona electric discharge by installing correspondingly. Lead line members(26) are installed in the dielectrics by contacting to the electrode member and the grounding member to supply electricity to the electrode member and the grounding member. Thereby, particular materials and gas are simultaneously reduced by using the corona electric discharge through high voltage.

PURPOSE: A parallel flat board type plasma reactor with projection formed dielectric barrier is provided to reduce particulate material and gaseous material of gas flowing inside the plasma reactor by forming projection on dielectric barrier in the plasma reactor, thereby maintaining glow and streamer electric discharges in the coexisting state. CONSTITUTION: In a parallel flat board shaped dielectric barrier type plasma reactor(100) comprising a space part formed by installing spacer(30) between first and second dielectric barriers(10,20), discharge electrode(11) installed at the first dielectric barrier, and grounding pole plate(21) installed at the second dielectric barrier, the parallel flat board type plasma reactor with projection formed dielectric barrier is characterized in that a plurality of projection parts(40) are formed at the inner side oppositely directed to the first and second dielectric barriers forming the space part, wherein the plurality of projection parts are formed with being spaced apart from each other in an equal distance along the longitudinal direction of the first and second dielectric barriers, and wherein projecting position of projection parts formed on the first dielectric barrier and projection parts formed on the second dielectric barrier is formed on a perpendicular line so that the same number of the projection parts of the first and second dielectric barriers is vertically formed.

PURPOSE: Structure of an exhaust gas reducing plasma reactor of a vehicle is provided to reduce the amount of exhaust gas by mounting a plasma reactor in a real vehicle and to secure the insulation of the plasma reactor against high voltage. CONSTITUTION: A plasma reactor(10) is protected by a can. An electrode plug(20) is installed to stably supply high voltage to the plasma reactor. Slope reinforcing members(30) for uniformly distributing stress in canning are installed at both sides or upper and lower and left and right sides of the plasma reactor. The slope reinforcing members are made of codierite ceramic durable to the canning pressure and light weight.

PURPOSE: A device for promoting the efficiency of catalyst is improve the purification efficiency of a catalytic converter even in cold-starting of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A device for promoting the efficiency of catalyst is composed of a venturi(5) installed on an exhaust introduction part of a catalytic converter(1), an air injection pipe(7) for supplying air to the venturi(5), a plasma reactor(9) connected to the air injection pipe(7) and including ozone and active radical in the air passing the air injection pipe(7), a temperature sensor(11), and an ozone sensor(13) installed in an exhaust pipe of the catalytic converter(1). A controller(15) receives signals from the temperature sensor(11) and the ozone sensor(13), and controls the plasma reactor(9).
