Abstract: The present invention relates to an energy absorbing structure of a bumper for vehicle. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an energy absorbing structure of a bumper for vehicle, which is capable of being reusable with reconstruction after shock absorption in case of a pedestrian collision and a low-speed collision while improving pedestrian protection performance and at the same time, improving energy absorbing efficiency in case of medium- and high-speed collisions. To achieve the above purpose, the present invention provides an energy absorbing structure of a bumper for vehicle comprises: a bumper back beam having a protruding portion protruding from the rear and supporting a load transmitted from the front in the event of a collision; each of bumper stays having a pipe-shaped portion, into which the protruding portion of the bumper back beam is inserted, and fixed to a frame of a vehicle; and each of buffering means disposed between the bumper back beam and the bumper stays to absorb an impact while being compressed by the impact transmitted from the bumper back beam, wherein each bumper stay has a deformation portion, which absorbs an impact while being permanently deformed by the protruding portion of the bumper back beam moving inside the pipe-shaped portion in the event of a collision.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mounting structure of a bumper stay which is installed in a bumper rail and is coupled to the front end of a front side member. The mounting structure comprises: a bumper rail which has a longitudinal hollow, front and rear surfaces, and an opening formed on the rear surface to expose the front surface; and a mounting bracket which has both bent ends having coupling surfaces, is inserted into the opening to couple the coupling surfaces to the front surface, and has a flat surface between the coupling surfaces.
