Abstract: A structure for a side sill in a vehicle is provided to enhance an external appearance of the side sill by preventing the side sill from being exposed to the exterior without mounting a side sill molding. A structure for a side sill(10) in a vehicle comprises a side sill inner panel(20) coupled to a vehicle body in a longitudinal direction thereof, a side sill outer panel(30), and a side sill outer reinforcement member(40) installed a space between the side sill inner panel and the side sill outer panel to attenuate impact energy. The side sill outer reinforcement member includes a lower end portion bent with multi-steps. The side sill outer panel includes a distal end portion, which is positioned at the protruded part of the side sill outer reinforcement member. The protruded part of the side sill outer reinforcement member and the distal end portion of the side sill outer panel are bonded together with a laser welding.
