Abstract: PURPOSE: A canister for a vehicle is provided to prevent collected evaporative gas from leaking out by preventing the lowering of the purge efficiency and efficiently purge evaporative gas collected in activated charcoal. CONSTITUTION: A canister for a vehicle comprises a housing(10), a loading port(1), a purge port(2), and an air port(3). Activated charcoal is mounted in the housing. A fan(41) is mounted in the housing for the inflow of external air. The inside of the housing is made of a first chamber and a second chamber partitioned from the first chamber by a partition wall. The first and the second chamber are connected on the bottom of the housing. The loading port is formed outside the housing and transfers the evaporative gas from the fuel tank to the activated charcoal. The purge port supplies the evaporative gas collected in the activated charcoal to an engine. External air flows in the housing through the air port.

Abstract: A fuel filter heater for a diesel engine is provided in which heat generated from the heater is quickly transferred to fuel flowing along a filter cartridge, thus improving low temperature starting ability of the engine by preventing paraffin components contained in fuel from being hardened during winter time. A fuel filter heater for a diesel engine, includes an aluminum structure, PTC elements(24), and positive and negative electrode pins(32,34). The aluminum structure is joined to a locking nut(16) in a center pipe(14). The PTC elements are fitted into holes of the aluminum structure in a lengthwise direction. The positive and negative electrode pins are attached to both ends of the aluminum structure so as to supply current to each PTC element. The heat transfer length of PTC elements for the fuel flowing along the filter cartridge is shortened and heat transfer area of PTC elements is increased.

Abstract: A rotary fuel sender is provided to prevent sudden change of a fuel gauge by allowing a rotary plate to maintain it's normal position even when level of an oil surface is changed on inclined road. A rotary fuel sender comprises a rotary guide pole(1), a rotary plate(5), a sliding connecting ring(11), a resistance measuring unit(20), and cable units(31,35). The rotary pole is vertically standing in a fuel tank through an insulation block(B). A rotation groove(3) is spirally formed longitudinally on an outer periphery surface of the rotary guide pole. A rotation protrusion of the rotary plate is tooth engaged with the rotation groove of the rotary guide pole. The rotary plate rotates along longitudinal direction of the rotary guide pole in accordance with location of an oil surface. The connecting ring is slide on a connection end which is protruded upward along periphery of rotation center of the rotary plate. The resistance measuring unit is installed between one part of the sliding connecting ring and the insulation block, and outputs variable resistance value according to the location of the rotary plate. The cable unit is linked between the other end of the sliding connecting ring and the insulation block, and inputs an external current signal to the resistance measuring unit through the sliding connecting ring.
