Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a piston for a vehicle is provided to enhance a rigidity, a durability, and an operating of the piston by melting a ball portion, a boss portion, and a top-land portion and cooling rapidly these after forming the piston by a casting. CONSTITUTION: An appearance of an entire piston is formed by a casting using aluminum material(S4). A ball portion, a boss portion, and a top-land portion of the piston are melted again by a tig welding(S5). At the same time, the piston is cooled rapidly, and the ball portion, thereby enhancing a rigidity of the boss portion and the top-land portion(S6). The resultant piston is finished by machining finely and manufactured(S7). Therefore, the entire rigidity of the piston is enhanced without increasing a thickness of the ball portion, the boss portion and the top-land portion.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A temperature sensing type 2-stage relief valve for pumping oil is provided to prevent the generation of excessive oil pressure with an oil pump rotating with a crank shaft of an engine when the temperature of the oil is low. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensing type 2-stage relief valve for pumping comprises a plunger(62), a bypass port(610), first and second discharging ports(611,612), and a temperature sensitized member(63). The plunger is slid along an inner wall of a relief valve(60) by oil supplied by a hydraulic port. The oil supplied from an oil pump(20) is bypassed, thereby being supplied to the relief valve via the bypass port. The first and second discharging ports are formed so that the bypassed oil is successively discharged through the bypass port.
