Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for estimating the remaining driving distance of an electric vehicle is provided to estimate the remaining driving distance based on various environments, thereby providing accurate information about the remaining driving distance to a user. CONSTITUTION: A driving distance is measured after a battery is charged(S110). A battery charging amount is measured(S112). A driving distance for the battery charging amount is calculated during an accumulation average value re-calculating process. The driving distance value about a new battery charging amount is inputted. An accumulation average value is re-calculated. The re-calculated data is stored and updated.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A battery system for an electric vehicle is provided to prevent battery corrosion and dielectric breakdown when a battery is charged under humid conditions by using the circulation of hot air. CONSTITUTION: A battery system for an electric vehicle comprises a high-voltage battery(10), an inlet duct(30), an outlet duct(60), a cooling fan(40), and a charger. The inlet and outlet ducts are formed on both sides of the high-voltage battery and cool the high-voltage battery using air. The cooling fan is installed in the inlet of the inlet duct. The charger has heat radiation fins(50). The heat radiation fins emit heat generated when the high-voltage battery is charged to the outside.
