Abstract: PURPOSE: A cylinder block of a vehicle engine is provided to enhance coupling force between a liner and a body by enlarging a contact area between the liner and the body. CONSTITUTION: A liner(10) is inserted into a bore of a body(20) in such a manner that an outer wall of the liner(10) is integrally formed with an inner wall of the bore of the body(20). A rib(10a) is protruded from an outer peripheral portion of the liner(10) in a spiral shape. By integrally forming the liner(10) with the body(20) forming a cylinder block, the rib(10a) of the liner(10) is inserted into the body(20) so that coupling force between the liner(10) and the body(20) is enhanced. An outer surface of the liner(10) makes contact with the body(20) so that a dual fixing structure is achieved. Since the liner(10) is integrally formed with the body(20), a gap is not formed between the liner(10) and the body(20).
