Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention is a restart control method for Idle Stop & Go (ISG) vehicles providing stability for vehicle's behavior through execution of controls for engine output torque and hydraulic pressure upon restarting an engine in automatic transmission vehicles mounted with an ISG system where an oil pump is applied. The present invention comprises; a process of determining whether conditions information of a vehicle satisfies release conditions for idle stop under the condition of an engine maintaining idle stop; and a process of executing engine restart by controlling engine cranking, fuel injection and ignition if the release conditions for idle stop are met; and a process of shortening the time for an engine speed to reach a peak value by controlling fuel injection and ignition timing depending on engine's ascending speed upon engine restart; and a process of reducing and controlling engine output torques by adjusting fuel amounts and ignition times until friction elements complete synchronization of a goal transmission range if the tip instroke of an accelerator pedal exceeds a set amount upon engine restart.
