Abstract: PURPOSE: A haptic scroll wheel switch for a vehicle is provided to prevent attention dispersion of an operator by uniting various switches installed at the vehicle and to integrally control lots of functions through a simple operation of the operator. CONSTITUTION: A haptic wheel holder(10) is installed within a vehicle. A haptic wheel(20) is installed to the haptic wheel holder which can be rotated. A motor is installed to the haptic wheel holder. The motor comprises a driving shaft(41) and an encoder slit(43). A pinion gear(30) is connected to a bevel gear of the haptic wheel. A printed circuit board(50) comprises a sensor sensing the rotation of the encoder slit. A wheel body is installed within the haptic wheel and supports the haptic wheel. A bevel gear unit is formed on one side of the wheel body. A scroll wheel passes through the wheel body and comprises a scroll pin combined to the haptic wheel holder which can be rotated.
