CONSTITUTION: A device for testing the performance of an oil seal includes a negative pressure generating element such as a vacuum pump(5) for forming a negative pressure in an engine(1), a negative pressure measuring element for measuring an inner negative pressure of the engine formed by the negative pressure element, a negative pressure control element(4) for controlling the negative pressure applied to the engine by the negative pressure element, and a sensing element(3) for sensing the introduction of atmospheric air into the engine via an oil seal(7) mounted to the engine while the negative pressure is formed in the engine by the negative pressure element.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil filter system is provided to determine the time for changing filter using oil pressure of filtering by an oil filter and to display it to a driver. CONSTITUTION: A housing(12) of an oil filter(10) has an intake port(14) connected with an oil pump and an outlet port(16) to supply filtered oil to an internal engine. A filter paper(18) is installed between the intake port(14) and the outlet port(16) to filter the oil. A bypass valve(20) is formed with a ball(20a) and a spring(20b) to support the ball(20a). When the oil pressure is normal, the bypass valve(20) is closed. And when the oil pressure is increased by a cold starting or contamination of the filter paper(18), the bypass valve(20) is opened. A plunger housing(24) is provided in lower side of the bypass valve(20) connected with an ECU(22). In the plunger housing(24), a plunger(26) is supported by a spring(28). As the ball(20a) moves up, a contact terminal(26a) of the plunger(26) is contacted with the plunger housing(24) to send an electrical signal to the ECU(22). The ECU(22) outputs the signal to replace the filter(10).

CONSTITUTION: A preheating plug(3) for preheating a mixture is integrally formed at the front end of a fuel injection nozzle(2) mounted in a cylinder head(1). The hollow core cylinder shaped preheating plug has a housing(3a) having a threaded portion, a heating resistant coil(3b) radially coiled in the housing, and a terminal(3c) connected with the coil in contact with the terminal of the fuel injection nozzle. The housing of the preheating plug is combined with the fuel injection nozzle through thread connection. The terminal of the preheating plug is connected with the terminal of the housing, and power is supplied to the heating resistant coil via the terminals. Then, the heating resistant coil is heated and the heat is transferred through the housing to preheat the mixture in a combustion chamber.
