Abstract: 본 발명은 차량의 주행중 양측 사각지대(블라인드 코너)의 차선(= 백선)을 보다 명확하게 감지하여, 감지된 차선을 블라인드 코너 모니터에 디스플레이함으로써, 운전자가 차량이 양쪽 차선내에서 주행하는지 또는 차선을 이탈하여 주행하는지를 시각적으로 인식할 수 있도록 한 차선 이탈 감지 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for detecting getting out of traffic lane of vehicle is provided, which makes a driver recognize clearly whether it breaks away from a lane or not. An apparatus for detecting getting out of traffic lane of vehicle comprises a camera(100) for a blind corner, an image processor, and a monitor(22) for the blind corner. In the camera for the blind corner, a camera cover is protruded in the front grille. A camera window is formed in the front end both parts of the camera cover. A prism is mounted toward the camera window inside the camera cover. A lens is mounted behind the prism inside the camera cover. An image-sensing device is mounted behind the lens inside the camera cover.
