    Abstract: A car speed automatic control system is provided to reduce the opening degree of throttle, thereby decreasing the time for the shift down of a transmission and improving fuel efficiency. A car speed automatic control system comprises a navigation unit which can output the opening point, the end point and the slope of the inclined road; a radar sensor which measures the distance with the preceding car; and an adaptive control unit which controls the throttle and brake amount according to the gradient of the road outputted at the navigation unit, thereby controlling the car with the velocity higher or lower than the pre-inputted constant speed driving velocity set value.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for controlling power generating voltage of a vehicle are provided to improve fuel efficiency and driving efficiency by controlling the power generating voltage of the vehicle according to the charging rate of a battery or whether the vehicle runs on the flat ground, uphill, or downhill road. An apparatus for controlling power generating voltage of a vehicle is composed of: a battery(22); a power generator(24) for generating power generating voltage and charging the battery with the power generating voltage; a battery charging rate measuring unit(26) for measuring the charging rate of the battery; a traveling state judging unit(16) for judging whether the vehicle runs on the flat ground, uphill, or downhill road; and a control unit(30) for receiving the charging rate of the battery from the battery charging rate measuring unit and the traveling state of the vehicle from the traveling state judging unit, and controlling the power generating voltage of the power generator according to the transmitted charging rate of the battery and the traveling state judging unit.
