Abstract: A control method of a steering wheel remote controller switch sensing traveling state is provided to improve operational performance by arranging the remote controller in a range in which a thumb touches the remote controller with gripping the steering wheel. A control method of a steering wheel remote controller switch sensing traveling state comprises: a step(S504) for detecting the steering angle of a steering wheel and the present speed of a vehicle; a step(S506) for detecting whether a gearshift is positioned on P location or not; a step(S508) for comparing the steering angle with a standard angle in case the gearshift is not positioned on the P location; a step(S510) for comparing the present speed with the standard vehicle speed in case the steering angle is lower than the standard angle; and a step(S516) for exposing the remote controller switch to outside by determining the manipulation available condition of the remote controller switch in case the present speed is lower than the standard vehicle speed or the gearshift is positioned on the P location.

Abstract: An automatically variable steering switch is provided to automatically change the position of the switch of a remote controller according to the position of a driver's hand, thereby improving the convenience in the manipulation of the remote controller switch. An automatically variable steering switch includes a position detection part(1) for detecting the position and gripping range of a hand by the grasping force of the hand, which grips a steering wheel, a position operation unit(2) for operating the position of a thumb from the detected hand position, and a thumb length storing part(3) for storing a mean thumb length. A changed position operation unit(4) operates a target movement position of the remote controller switch from the operated thumb position and the stored mean thumb length. A moving unit(5) moves the remote controller switch to the operated target movement position.
