Abstract: PURPOSE: A steering wheel unit of a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to improve driver's attention on driving by sensing and warning that driver's hand separates from the steering wheel unit. CONSTITUTION: A steering wheel unit of a vehicle comprises a steering wheel(107), a hand detection sensor(110), a controller(150), and a display(105). The steering wheel is operated by a driver to control the driving direction of a vehicle. The hand detection sensor is installed in the steering wheel and senses a hand grasping the steering wheel. The controller determines whether the hand is grasping the steering wheel or separated from the steering wheel. The display is formed above the steering wheel and shows the state of the hand grasping the steering wheel determined by the controller.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an airbag unit is provided to protect the shape of a tearing fabric by folding an airbag without the touching of a tearing fabric. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an airbag unit comprises the following steps. An air bag(100) is folded correspondently to a cushion sidewall(130). In order that the inner side of the cushion sidewall becomes the outside, the cushion sidewall is overturned. The cushion sidewall protects the folded airbag. The cushion sidewall and folded airbag are inserted into an assembling case(400). One side of the cushion sidewall is attached to the airbag and the other end is opened.

아울러, 상기 쿠션사이드월을 상기 에어백의 개방구를 폐쇄하는 티어링패브릭에 부착하여 상기 쿠션사이드월의 위치를 균일하게 배치할 수 있고, 상기 티어링패브릭은 그대로 두고, 상기 에어백을 접음으로써, 상기 티어링패브릭을 형상을 보호/유지 할 수 있다.
