Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for generating an automobile shape with utilizing a shape function is provided to easily extract parameters for predicting vehicle performance. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle outer shape production method of the shape function base is as follows. The vehicles general shape is partitioned into the constant area. The angular region is expressed in the shape function and the vehicle shape of 3D is obtained by the combination of the shape function. The shape of the vehicle partitions into the side, front, and plane side. The vehicle side partitions into the hood section, loop, trunk section, and under body section. The front side of a vehicle partitions into loop and under body section. The plane of the vehicle partitions into the side part which is symmetrical to the center of a vehicle.

Abstract translation: 目的：提供一种利用形状函数产生汽车形状的方法，以便于提取用于预测车辆性能的参数。 构成：形状函数库的车辆外形制作方法如下。 车辆一般形状分为恒定区域。 角区域以形状函数表示，并且通过形状函数的组合获得3D的车辆形状。 车辆的形状分为侧面，前面和平面。 车辆侧面分隔成发动机罩部分，回路，主干部分和主体部分。 车辆的前侧分成环和车身部分。 车辆的平面分隔成与车辆中心对称的侧部。
