    Abstract: PURPOSE: A plastic hub and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce the noise by forming a central insert and a conical insert and injection-molding the central insert and the conical insert with using thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION: A pair of inserts(12,13) are formed in thermoplastic resin(11) so as to form a hub(10). The hub(10) includes a central portion to which a cam shaft is press-fitted, and a conical portion. The inserts(12,13) are inserted into the central portion and the conical portion of the hub(10). The central portion of the hub(10) is formed in a cylindrical shape and the remaining portion of the hub(10) is formed in a frustum shape. A plurality of perforating holes(14) are formed in the conical portion of the hub(10). The perforation holes(14) allow resin to easily flow when an injection molding process is carried out.

CONSTITUTION: A rubber member for a plastic damper pulley hub for a car includes an AEM-based rubber or an EPDM-based rubber. The AEM-based rubber or the EPDM-based rubber, which is pressed rubber material, is pressed to a plastic hub having glass fiber of 30 to 60% by weight. The AEM-based rubber has an acryl content of 20 to 50% by weight and an ethylene content of 50 to 80% by weight. The EPDM-based rubber has an ethylene content of 10 to 70% by weight and a propylene content of 30 to 90% by weight.

    Abstract: A rubber composition for torsional dampers of cars is provided to prevent a rubber member for a damper from being damaged by heat generated from an engine room by realizing improved durability, heat resistance and high damping quality, and by reducing a variation in natural frequencies. A rubber composition for torsional dampers of cars comprises: 100 parts by weight of acrylic rubber represented by the following formula 1; 10-20 parts by weight of carbon black having a particle diameter of 26-30 nm; 20-40 parts by weight of carbon black having a particle diameter of 40-48 nm; 0.5-1 parts by weight of an amine-based crosslinking agent; 2-3 parts by weight of an accelerator; 2-3 parts by weight of an activator; 3-4 parts by weight an anti-aging agent; and 2-3 parts by weight of a vulcanization aid. In formula 1, R is a C1-C20 alkylene group; and each of x, y and z is an integer of 1-150.
