Abstract: PURPOSE: An auto-moving device of a headrest for precrash is provided to minimize passengers' neck injuries in a rear collision by preventing the neck from bending back. CONSTITUTION: An auto-moving device of a headrest for precrash comprises a rear-end collision prediction sensor, a controller, and a headrest mobile unit(200). The rear-end collision prediction sensor is installed on the rear part of the vehicle to predict a rear-end collision. The controller receives the measured value of the rear-end collision prediction sensor and compares the reference value saved inside. The controller outputs the control signals. The headrest mobile unit comprises a stay rod(210), a tilting mechanism(220), and an elevating unit(230).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An active headrest apparatus for a vehicle seat is provided to enable the active headrest to be stably operated since when making contact with a back plate, the contact area increases. CONSTITUTION: An active headrest apparatus for a vehicle seat comprises a back plate(30), a coupling pin(50), a back plate spring(60) and an upper amateur(70). The back plate is connected to a lower amateur(40) and is located toward both side frames. Slot holes(34) are formed on left and right ends of the back plate. The coupling pin passes through the slot hole to be able to move along the slot hole. The coupling pin is connected to the side frame. One end of the back plate spring is connected to the side frame and the other end is connected to the back plate. The upper amateur is connected to the lower amateur and the upper end of the upper amateur is installed through an upper frame(22).
