Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for automatic controlling the side mirror of a vehicle to an axial direction are provided to secure a required view field by successively controlling the position of the side mirror using an electronic control unit(ECU). CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatic controlling the side mirror of a vehicle includes an information control ECU, a driving ECU, an interior local area network device. The information control ECU verifies the state of the vehicle. The driving ECU controls the side mirror to a desired axial position based on the information of the information control ECU. The interior local area network device controls the communication between the information control ECU and the driving ECU.

Abstract: 본 발명은 차량 주행시 사이드 윈도우의 외측면에 부착되는 각종 이물질이 제거 가능하도록 사이드 미러가 차체에 연결되는 연결부에 설치된 사이드 윈도우의 이물질 제거장치에 관한 것으로서, 차량 주행시 주행풍이 유입 가능하도록 사이드 미러가 차체에 연결되는 연결부의 전면에 형성된 유입부; 상기 유입부에서 유입된 주행풍이 상기 연결부를 경유하여 상기 사이드 윈도우를 향해 분사될 때 주행풍의 분사 상태가 조절 가능하도록 상기 사이드 미러의 연결부 후면에 형성된 분사부; 및 상기 유입부와 분사부를 연통시키며 상기 유입부로 유입된 주행풍이 상기 분사부를 통해 상기 사이드 윈도우로 이동 가능하도록 상기 사이드 미러의 내부에 형성된 가이드부;를 포함하여 구성된다. 이에 따라 사이드 윈도우에 부착된 이물질을 제거함으로써 운전자가 측방 및 후방 시야 확보하고 운전상의 안정성을 향상시키는 효과가 있다.

Abstract: An apparatus for removing foreign materials in a side window is provided to obtain side view and rear view by heating wind with a heating coil in snowing and removing the snow adhered to a side window with the heated wind. An apparatus for removing foreign materials in a side window comprises: an inlet unit formed in the front side of a connection part(30A) in which a side mirror(30) is connected to a car body to flow wind, created by a driving car, inside; a jetting unit(40) being formed in the rear side of the side mirror to control the wind jet in emitting the wind to a side window(10) via the connection part; and a guide unit formed inside the side mirror to move the wind, flowed into the inlet unit, to the side window through the jetting unit.
