Abstract: A method for controlling a hybrid vehicle is provided to improve an acceleration performance of a vehicle by increasing a power used for accelerating the vehicle, from an output of an engine. A method for controlling a hybrid vehicle which is driven by at least one driving force of an engine(1) and motor generators(3,4) includes the steps of: determining a target engine rotation number and a target engine output torque for the acceleration; calculating the target engine rotation number for a control based on a current engine rotation number and the target engine rotation number; and adjusting an output torque of the motor generator and an output torque of the engine based on the target engine rotation number for the control.

Abstract: A control method of a hybrid vehicle is provided to improve fuel consumption ratio of the vehicle and to use a battery at high efficiency for a long time by applying a function for controlling the charging and discharging of a battery by energy loss and charged capacity of the battery generated in charging the battery. A hybrid vehicle comprises an engine(1), a battery(13), a first motor generator(3), a second motor generator(5), a planetary gear set(7), and a control device. The control device controls the operation state of the engine, the battery, and the first and second motor generators to keep an operation in an optimal state capable of obtaining demanded driving power(Pdemand). In a control method of the hybrid vehicle, system efficiency in the recommended operation state is calculated by using power(Pfuel) of the engine and output power of the battery used to generate demanded driving power. The output power of the battery is computed by dividing the rear discharge power(Pbout_real) of the battery by a coefficient for controlling the charged capacity of the battery by discharge energy efficiency of the battery and energy loss hysteresis and charged capacity of the battery used in charging the battery.

Abstract: A control method of a hybrid vehicle is provided to reduce the fuel consumption rate of the vehicle and to prevent the life time of a battery from being reduced, by controlling an SOC(State Of Charge) control range of the battery according to the acceleration and deceleration states and the pushing degree of an accelerator pedal. A method for controlling a hybrid vehicle traveling by driving power of one of an engine and a motor generator transmitting and receiving electricity to/from a battery comprises the steps of: controlling an SOC control range of the battery according to the acceleration and deceleration states of the vehicle and the pushing degree of an accelerator pedal; calculating chargeable power and dischargeable power in the battery according to the controlled SOC range of the battery; and controlling torque and RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of the engine and the motor generator so that power transmitted and received to/from the motor generator is included within a range of the calculated chargeable power and dischargeable power of the battery.
