Abstract:
본 발명은 황화수소 이온에 의해 황화철 침전물이 표면에 코팅된 나노영가철 및 이를 이용한 오염토양 및 지하수 환경오염물질의 정화처리방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 토양/지하수 내 유기오염물질 및 중금속의 정화처리를 위한 경제적이고 반응성이 뛰어난 새로운 나노영가철(Nano-scale Zero Valent Iron; nZVI) 제조를 위하여 종래의 sodium borohydride를 이용한 환원법에 황화수소(HS - ) 이온을 첨가하여 황화철 침전물이 표면에 코팅된 나노영가철(Hydrosulfide mediate-nZVI; H-nZVI, 이하 같다)의 합성 및 이를 이용한 환경오염물질 정화처리방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 나노영가철(H-nZVI)은 토양과 지하수 내에 존재하는 환경오염물질의 탈할로겐화 및 중금속 고정화 처리에 적용된다. 본 발명에 따르면, 종래의 dithionite를 이용한 합성법과 비교해 적은 양으로 표면에 황화철 침전물을 가지는 새로운 나노영가철을 합성할 수 있으며, 이는 TCE 등 유기오염물질 및 중금속의 환경오염물질의 정화처리에 있어 기존에 보고된 dithionite가 첨가된 D-nZVI 또는 일반 nZVI에 비해 향상된 처리효율을 보인다.

The present invention relates to an oxygen releasing alginate bead comprising a metal oxide and a method for purifying a soil or underground water pollutant using the same and more particularly, to an oxygen releasing alginate bead comprising a metal oxide, which is made to keep a pH between 5 and 7 and to generate oxygen by using a cross-linking agent for generating trivalent cations instead of calcium chloride in an existing alginate bead synthesis method using the reaction of an alginate solution and calcium chloride, and adding calcium peroxide, which is a metal peroxide, as an oxygen generating agent so as to produce oxygen releasing alginate beads (ORABs) for purifying pollutant organic chemical compounds such as BTEX and TPH in soil or underground water; and a method for purifying a soil or underground water pollutant using the same. The oxygen releasing alginate bead according to the present invention enhances the natural on-site biodegradation of microorganisms by consistently supplying oxygen to the microorganisms and keeping a proper pH and can be applied efficiently to the treatment of pollutants such as BTEX and TPH existing in soil and underground water.

PURPOSE: A method for purifying contaminated area containing contaminated soil or underground water is provided to reduce cost required for installation using a direct injection-permeable reactive barrier based technique. CONSTITUTION: A method for purifying contaminated area using nZVI and a direct injection-permeable reactive barrier based technique. A contaminated area containing contaminated soil and underground water is classified into highly contaminated area and lowly contaminated area. An injection wall, a monitoring well, and a multi-monitoring well are installed at the contaminated areas. The nZVI is injected through the injection well. The effective radius and purifying efficiency and harmness of the contaminated areas are monitored using the monitoring well and the multi-monitoring well.

PURPOSE: A polyphenol-coated nano-scale zero valent iron(P-nZVI) for restoring soil and underground water and a method for preparing the same are provided to expand the effective radius of the P-nZVI by including the superior dispersibility and the mobility. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing P-nZVI includes the following: polyphenol is added to an iron-contained solution to obtain a polyphenol-Fe solution. A reducing agent is added to the polyphenol-Fe solution. A reaction is implemented to synthesize the P-nZVI. The adding amount of the polyphenol is 10 to 50 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of iron.
