The invention relates to a vacuum interrupter with double co-axial contact arrangement in which the inner contact has a TMF-like or Pin shape arranged within concentrically cup shaped AMF coil with a single layer or multilayered contact parts at each side, th.m. on the side of the a fixed contact arrangement as well as on the side of a movable contact arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1. In order to enhance this special construction furthermore in order to result high conductivity and low resistance, the invention is, that the outer cup shaped contact is made from a double or multiple layer arrangement, wherein at least one layer is made from a hard steel or steel alloy and at least a second layer is made from material with high thermal conductivity.

A high-voltage switching device (1) comprising: • at least a fixed contact (4) and an associated movable contact (3) which can be actuated between a closed position in which it is electrically coupled to fixed contact, and an open position in which it is electrically se separated from the fixed contact; • an actuating mechanism comprising at least a rotating cam (101); • a mechanical transmission unit operatively associated to the actuating mechanism and movable between a first operative position and a second operative position for actuating the movable contact (3) between the open position and the closed position. The mechanical transmission unit comprises at least a first rotating pin (120) operatively associated to the rotating cam (101) in such a way that an outer edge (103) of the rotating cam (101) slides on the first rotating pin (120) causing a first movement of the mechanical transmission unit from the first operative position to the second operative position, during a first rotation of the cam (101).
Abstract:
A high-voltage DC cable joint comprising a multi-wall layered construction having individual concentrically arranged layers. The joint comprises, from inside to outside, an inner conductive rubber layer (1), a field grading rubber layer (2) made from a predetermined tailored formulation, an insulating rubber layer (3) and an outer conductive rubber layer (4). The field grading rubber layer separates and interconnects the conductive rubber layers, and wherein the rubber layers are cross-linked by a by-product-free manufacturing method. The cable joint is preferably made from platinum cured rubbers by moulding process steps. In a preferred embodiment the cable joint is made by injection moulding.

High voltage switching device comprising an outer casing, and at least two vacuum interrupters electrically connected in series to each other and having each a fixed contact and an associated movable contact. An actuating mechanism actuates the movable contacts between a first closed position in which they are connected to the corresponding fixed contacts, and a second open position in which they are separated therefrom. The actuating mechanism comprises a single drive unit supplying the energy required to move the movable contacts, and transmission means transmitting the energy required to the movable contacts; the transmission means comprise at least one transmission belt or chain drive which is actuated by the drive unit and operatively links the movement of the movable contacts.
