Abstract: A beverage dispensing device for producing a beverage from a pre-packaged beverage powder or liquid concentrate has a housing including a fluid inlet port and a fluid motive device in fluid communication with the fluid inlet port. A fluid purification assembly is in fluid communication with the fluid motive device. A fluid dispensing outlet is configured to expel at least a portion of fluid passing through the fluid purification assembly for mixing with the pre-packaged beverage powder or liquid concentrate.
