Abstract: PURPOSE:To recover fine particles having low degree of magnetization with high practical yield by laying plural expanded thin sheets having high magnetic prmeability on each other wherein the slits formed in zigzag are arranged with a distance in the width direction below three times length of the thickness of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:Fluid suspension or slurry contg. a large amt. of useful magnetic particles is introduced into a canister 10 from a direction A. A uniform magnetic field is formed between an upper electrode 16 and a lower electrode 18 by the excitation of an air-core coil 12. Since the matrix 14 arranged between both electrodes has an acute angle part at the lower part, the uniform magnetic field is disturbed, and magnetic particles in the fluid suspension or slurry are captured by the matrix 14. The fluid contg. magnetically unattracted particles is transported in the direction B by the effect of the upper electrode 16. The matrix 14 comprises alternately layer-built magnetic expanded metal 22 consisting of a material having >=1,000 magnetic permeability and a nonmagnetic expanded metal 23.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To continuously separate magnetic particles contained in fluid to be purified with high separation performance by providing a magnetic field generator wherein the intensity of the magnetic field is monotonically increased toward a deposition part in a trapping part and the magnetic field becoming maximum at the deposition part is generated. CONSTITUTION:The intensity of a magnetic field is monotonically increased toward a deposition part 8 in a trapping part 7 by means of a pair of magnetic poles 12 oppositely provided and the magnetic field becoming maximum in the deposition part 8 is generated. When liquid contg. magnetic particles is introduced into the trapping part 7, magnetic particles are trapped on magnetic wires 9 and induced to the deposition part 8 from the trapping part 7 and deposited on the magnetic wires 9 set in a position wherein the intensity of the magnetic field becomes maximum. When the deposited amount is increased by the magnetic particles continuously induced, it finally reaches saturation and furthermore induced magnetic particles are separated from the magnetic wires 9 in this position. The separated magnetic particles are discharged to the outside of a vessel 1 together with washing water.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To separate efficiently the magnetic particles by dividing a vessel with a partition body having plural perforated holes, extending plural magnetic wires through the perforated holes, sending the magnetic particles to the other chamber with the generated magnetic field, making the magnetic field of the chamber small and flowing a washing fluid therein. CONSTITUTION:A fluid to be purified is flowed in through an inflow pipe 11 and passed through the intervals of the magnetic wires 20, and the magnetic particles are conveyed on the magnetic wires in the X axis direction by means of the magnetic gradient increasing in the X axis direction and passed through the perforated holes of a partition body 19 and induced into the second chamber 18. In the second chamber 2, a ferromagnetic block 16 is periodically approached so that the magnetic wires in the chamber are periodically made small. In synchronizing with this, the washing water is flowed into the inside of the second chamber and the magnetic particles are discharged through a drainage pipe 14.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled equipment wherein magnetic particles are easily transferred on magnetic wires and easily separated therefrom by conducting AC current having a plurality of frequency components on the magnetic wires which re parallelly extended in a filter vessel and crossed to a magnetic field wherein intensity is monotonically increased. CONSTITUTION:In such case that fluid to be purified which is introduced through an introduction pipe 2 is passed among the magnetic wires 9, magnetic particles are trapped on the magnetic wires 9. When conducting AC current having a plurality of specific frequencies as a component on the magnetic wires 9 and thereby vibrating the magnetic wires 9 uniformly, such a state that magnetic particles are stuck and separated on/from the magnetic wires 9 is repeated. On the other hand, since a magnetic field is formed so that it is monotonically increased in the direction of an X-axis being the axial direction of the magnetic wires 9, magnetic particles are carried on the magnetic wires 9 in the direction of the X-axis and induced to the second chamber 8. In a second chamber 8, magnetic particles are separated from the magnetic wires 9 by allowing washing water to flow and be discharged through a drainage pipe 5.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To generate fine foams and carry out effective selection of fine particles by providing a gas chamber around a porous sintering tube having micro-voids, feeding gas into said gas chamber and flowing liquid inside the sintering tube. CONSTITUTION:A gas chamber 9 is provided around a porous sintering tube 7 having micro-voids in a fine foam generating section 1, and gas is fed into the gas chamber 9 and liquid is flowed inside the sintering tube 7 to generate shearing force generated by the liquid to the foams generated in the sintering tube 7 through a tube wall and generate fine foams in the liquid. Further, substances to be selected being contained in the liquid are selected and recovered at a selecting section 2 by the fine foams generated in the fine foam generating section 1. As a result, fine particles can be selected effectively by generating fine foams of approximately 100mu or smaller. For instance, industrial waste gas is introduced from a porous sintering tube outer wall and sea water is flowed in the porous sintering tube and reacted therein to be used for fixing carbon dioxide gas.
