    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to improve heat efficiency and eliminate trouble of corrosion, etc. at heat exchanger tubes owing to ash adhesion on heat exchanger by burning completely volatile matter only and burning incompletely solid matter after woody fuel is separated into solid matter and volatile matter by burning in whirling motion. CONSTITUTION:Coarse grain-like or compressively formed solid-like woody fuel is supplied into a combustion chamber 1 and is being burnt while the fuel is moved whirlingly downward in a combustion chamber space; thereby, the woody fuel is separated into solid matter and volatile matter and only the volatile matter is completely burnt to heat a heat exchanger 5 for working fluid and solid matter is burnt incompletely by being moved downward along the wall of the combustion chamber 1. Thereby, ashes are not produced in the combustion chamber 1 and moreover, burning solid matter is separated from air current and moved downward by centrifugal force and as a result, there is not trouble owing to ash adhesion on the heat exchanger 5 for working fluid, resulting in melting of ashes, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To transfer heat from the upper part of a loop-line to the lower part of it, by raising the discharge pipe of a heat pump connected to an evaporator higher than the upper heat pipe, by constituting a flow passage of loop structure as the whole of a heat pipe device, by providing check valves at the outlet of a cooler and at the rising part of a discharge pipe respectively, and by returning a heating medium in the cooler to the evaporator by a heat pump. CONSTITUTION:When a heat pump 1 is heated and is operated, part of a heating medium 11 is evaporated, and a bubble flow, a plug flow, or a slug flow is produced in the upper and the lower that pipes 2 and 3. At that time the pressure in a loop-line from check valves 5 to 6 including a heating part consisting of the upper and the lower heat pipes 2 and 3 is increased, the check valve 6 is opened, the produced bubbles disappear, and the pressure in the loop-line is reduced. Thereby a cold heating medium is fed into the heating part from a cooler 4. While a discharged heating medium is fed into an evaporator 12 via the check valve 6. The heating medium fed from the outside into the evaporator 12 is heated and generates steam. The generated steam is transmitted to the cooler 4 through a down-pipe 8.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to transfer heat to the lower part from the upper part without using any mechanical power, by providing check valves at the inlet of a cooling part and in a position right above the connecting part of an upper and a lower heat pipes on the side of a down-pipe at the outlet of a heating part respectively, and by sealing a heating medium in a heat pipe except part of a down-pipe. CONSTITUTION:When a heating part 1 is heated, part of a heating medium 3 is evaporated, and a bubble flow, a plug flow, or a slug flow is produced in the upper and the lower heat pipes 2 and 3 of a heating part. At that time the pressure in a loop-line from check valves 5 to 6 including the heating part 1 is increased, the check valve 6 is opened, the produced bubbles disappear, and the pressure in the loop-line is reduced. Thereby a cold heating medium can be fed into the heating part 1 from a cooling part 4. While a discharged heating medium is fed into a down-pipe 8 via the check valve 6. Since the down-pipe 8 is not completely filled with the heating medium at that time, the discharged heating medium can easily go down into the cooling part 4. With such an arrangement the heating medium heated in the heating part 1 can be transmitted to the cooling part 4 positioned in the lower part of a loop-line, and transfer of heat corresponding to the transmission of a heating medium can be accomplished in the title heat pipe.
