Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headset engaging connector system which includes two or more headset engaging contact regions to provide at least one of power and data.SOLUTION: A headset connector system 200 includes two or more headset connector contact regions 221, 222, 223. The headset connector system 200 or a headset engaging connector system includes switching circuitry 215 electrically coupled to each of the contact regions. The switching circuitry 215 can be operative to determine an interface orientation between the headset connector contact regions and headset engaging contact regions. At least a portion of the headset connector system or the headset engaging connector system has magnetic attractive force.
