    Abstract: An electronic device such as a head-mounted device may have a display that displays computer- generated content for a user. The head-mounted device may have an optical system that directs the computer-generated content towards eye boxes for viewing by a user. The optical system may include a spatially addressable adjustable optical component. The adjustable optical component may have first and second electrodes and an electrically adjustable material between the first and second electrodes. The electrically adjustable material may include a transparent, conductive material such as indium tin oxide that includes a pattern of segmented trenches configured to provide the transparent conductive material with electrical anisotropy. Contacts may be coupled to the transparent conductive material. Control circuitry can adjust the electrically adjustable material to form a spatially addressable light modulator or adjustable lens.

    Abstract: A tiling display system has multiple display panels. The display panels may be positioned by positioners that are coupled to the display panels. In an untiled operating mode, the display panels of the tiling display system are moved apart. In this mode, each display panel can display different content such as different static images of artwork. In a tiled operating mode, the display panels of the tiling system are moved together to form a single display that displays a single still or moving image. Components on the backs of the display panels and/or along the edges of the display panels may be used to facilitate panel-to- panel alignment, to help couple adjacent panels together, and to support the transfer of power and/or data signals among the panels. The components may include optical and/or electrical alignment sensors, magnets for alignment and coupling, and transmitters and receivers for transmitting and receiving signals.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform simultaneous uplink activity for multiple RATs in the same carrier using frequency division multiplexing. The wireless device may establish a first wireless link with a first base station according to a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second wireless link with a second base station according to a second RAT. The first base station may provide a first cell operating in a first system bandwidth and the second base station may provide a second cell operating in a second system bandwidth. The wireless device may determine whether the wireless device has uplink activity scheduled according to both the first RAT and the second RAT. If so, the wireless device may perform uplink activity for both the first RAT and the second RAT in the first system bandwidth using frequency division multiplexing.
