Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer dispersion having high solid content and low viscosity. SOLUTION: This polymer dispersion having different particle size is produced very simply by emulsion-polymerization of a free-radical polymerizable compound by adding a mini-emulsion that is a surfactant-stabilized aqueous emulsion of monomers having emulsified particle size of 10-500nm, and whose liquid monomer particles contain a compound whose solubility into the monomers is at least twice that into water, before or during polymerization of the monomers.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of mixtures comprising polyoxymethylene A) and emulsion polymers B), whereby, firstly, an aqueous polymer dispersion of olefinic, unsaturated compounds is produced by emulsion polymerisation and, finally, the emulsion polymer B) is mixed in the usual manner with a homo- or co-polymer of polyoxymethylene and, optionally, further adjuncts.
