Abstract:
Monoazo dyes having a diazo component derived from a 4-amino-7nitro-1,2-benzisothiazole optionally substituted in the 5position by chlorine, bromine, nitro or cyano and a substituted aniline as coupling component. The dyes are eminently suitable for dyeing synthetic linear polyesters.
Abstract:
SUBSTANTIALLY PURE BASIC DYES DERIVED FROM 4-METHYLENE1,3-DISUBSITUTED-3,4-DIHYDROPYRIMIDONES WHICH ARE EMINENTLY SUITABLE FOR DYEING AND PRINTING TEXTILE MATERIALS MADE OF ACRYLONITRILE POLYMERS.
Abstract:
Polyazo dyes useful for dyeing leather in the free form or as copper, chromium, iron, cobalt or nickel complexes have the formula where m is 0, 1 or 2, n is 0 or 1, p is from 1 to 2, q is from 0 to 1, and R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R3, R7, X, Y and the ring A are each as defined, and may be prepared from aniline derivatives of the formula where m is 0, 1 or 2, n is 0 or 1, and X, R1, R2 and R3 are each as defined.
Abstract:
The compounds of the general formula I where X is fluorine, chlorine, bromine, SO2E or unsubstituted or substituted hydroxyl or mercapto, E is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, aryl, chlorine or unsubstituted or substituted hydroxyl or amino, Y is cyano, nitro, alkanoyl, aroyl, alkylsulfonyl, arylsulfonyl, carboxyl, a carboxylic ester group or unsubstituted or substituted carbamyl, T is hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, a radical which can be introduced by electrophilic substitution or a radical of the formula -CH=B, in which B is a radical of a methylene-active compound or of an amine, and K is a radical of a coupling component, are very useful for dyeing synthetic fibers or plastics.

Abstract:
Trisazo dyes containing sulfo groups and having the formula: which for the most part give black colorations on paper and particularly on leather and are therefore especially useful as leather dyes.
