Abstract: Polyester is produced by reaction of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, neopentyl glycol, at least one other diol, and a nonanol mixture comprising mainly 1-nonanol, monomethyloctanols, dimethylheptanols and monoethylheptanols. An Independent claim is also included for the nonanol mixture.
