Abstract: In aq. storage-stable, flowable and pumpable Na aluminosilicate suspensions, contg., w.r.t. suspension, 15-70 wt.% Na aluminosilicate, the proportion of tri-Na nitrilotriacetate dissolved in the aq. phase is 15-50 wt.%, w.r.t. suspension, provided that the suspension contains at least 20 wt.% water. The suspension is pref. prepd. by (a) introducing the Na aluminosilicate, esp. zeolite A, into the aq. Na nitrilotriacetate soln. and dispersing. The suspensions are used as builders in phosphate-free or low-phosphate detergent mfr. Suspension prepn. requires no added dispersant. Suspension use in detergent compsns. overcomes incrustation problems in washing.
