Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing an N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide. According to the invention, an N-(alk-1-enyl)-acetamide is reacted with an aryl- or heteroaryl-chloride, bromide, iodide or triflate in the presence of a) a Pd-catalyst and b) water and/or an ionic liquid, and c) dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAC) and/or surplus N-(alk-1-enyl)-acetamide.
Abstract:
Preparation of N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide comprises reaction of N-(alk-1-enyl)-acetamide with aryl- or heteroaryl- chloride, bromide, iodide or triflate in the presence of palladium-catalyst, water and/or ionic liquid, and dimethylformamide, N,N-dimethylacetamide and/or surplus N-(alk-1-enyl)-acetamide. Independent claims are included for: (1) a preparation of a ketone, comprising preparing N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide and followed by hydrolyzing the acetamide; and (2) preparation of N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide comprising preparing N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide and reducing the acetamide or in situ.
Abstract:
Producing optically active 4-(1-ammoniumethyl)-benzoic acid methylester-sulfate (I) comprises reacting racemic 4-(1-aminoethyl)-benzoic acid methyl ester with an acylating agent in the presence of a lipase to form 4-(1-aminoethyl)benzoic acid methyl ester and subsequently adding sulfuric acid to precipitate 4-(1-ammoniumethyl)-benzoic acid methyl ester-sulfate. An independent claim is included for (I), which is obtained by the above process.
Abstract:
Preparation of N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamides or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamides comprises reaction of N-(alk-1-enyl)-acetamide with aryl or heteroaryl chloride, bromide, iodide or triflate in the presence of: (a) palladium-catalyst; (b) water and/or ionic liquid; and (c) dimethylformamide, N,N-dimethylacetamide and/or excess N-(alk-1-enyl)-acetamide. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) preparation of a ketone comprising preparing N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide as above followed by hydrolysis of the acetamide; and (2) preparation of N-(1-aryl-alkyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alkyl)-acetamide comprising preparing N-(1-aryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide or N-(1-heteroaryl-alk-1-enyl)-acetamide as above and subsequently reducing the acetamide or in situ.
Abstract:
Production of optically active 4-(ammonium ethyl) benzoic acid methyl ester-sulfate (I) comprises reacting a racemic mixture of 4-(1-aminoethyl)-benzoic acid methyl ester with an acylating agent in the presence of lipase to give 4-(aminoethyl) benzoic acid methyl ester and subsequently precipitating 4-(ammonium ethyl)benzoic acid methyl ester-sulfate by adding sulfuric acid. Independent claims are included for: (1) (S)-4-(ammonium ethyl) benzoic acid methyl ester sulfate; and (2) (R)-4-(ammonium ethyl) benzoic acid methyl ester sulfate.
