    Abstract: The invention relates to a moulding composition which is a mixture of two polymers A and B of vinyl chloride. Polymer A is a homopolymer or copolymer of vinyl chloride having a K value of from 55 to 65 and makes up from 99.9 to 95 % by weight of the moulding composition. Polymer B is present in a proportion of from 0.1 to 5 % by weight and is prepared in emulsion by a batch process, has a mean particle diameter (d50 value of the primary particles) of 0.02 to 1.0 mu m and has a K value of from 75 to 90. The moulding composition may contain conventional graft copolymers based on crosslinked or uncrosslinked rubbers or additives and is used for the production of films.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing ethyldimethylamine and triethylamine, comprising the steps of (i) reacting a mixture from diethylamine and dimethylamine with ethylene in the presence of a catalyst from the group of the alkali metal dimethylamides, alkali metal diethylamides and alkali metal hydrides, (ii) removing the catalyst, (iii) separating by distillation the obtained mixture into triethylamine and ethyldimethylamine and optionally diethylamine and dimethylamine, (iv) optionally returning the catalyst and the educt amines to the reaction. The inventive method allows the coupled production of ethyldimethylamine and diethylamine in a simple process.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a moulding composition which is a mixture of a graft copolymer A and PVC. The graft copolymer A makes up 70-95 % by weight of the moulding composition and contains a monomer from the group consisting of vinyl aromatic monomers and the group consisting of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, grafted on to a rubber from the series consisting of polybutadienes, polyacrylates or EPDM. Component B is present in the moulding composition in a proportion of 5-30 % by weight and is a polymer of vinyl chloride prepared by a batch method and having a Fikentscher K value of 75-90 and a mean particle diameter (primary particles) of a) 0.02-1.0 mu m (emulsion polymer) or b) 0.1-2.0 mu m (micro suspension polymer). The moulding composition may additionally contain conventional additives and is used for the preparation of mixtures with polyvinyl chloride.
