Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of copolymers as gas hydrate inhibitors, whereby these copolymers are synthesized from: 40 to 99.5 % by weight of at least one ethylenically unsaturated cyclic lactam A; 0.5 to 60 % by weight of monomers B having a solubility in water of less than 10 parts by weight of monomers in 100 parts by weight of water, and; 0 to 50 % by weight of other monomers C.
Abstract:
Water-soluble, light-sensitive resin compsn. contains a high polymer (I) with N-2-(4-azido-2-sulpho-cinnamoyl)-tert.-butyl-acrylamide units of formula (IA) and, as a water-soluble polymer (II), polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) and/or a copolymer of vinyl pyrrolidone and vinyl imidazole. In the formula, X = Na, K or NH4. Also claimed is the use of the compsn. for making a black matrix pattern.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing copolymers by radical polymerisation of a) 5 to 95 wt. % of a monomer of formula (I), b) 95 to 5 wt. % of a monomer of formula (II), wherein R and R represent H, C1-C3-alkyl, R = H, C1 6-alkyl and n = 1 to 3 respectively and c) 0 to 40 wt. % of another fully or partially water-soluble monomer. The inventive method is characterised in that the polymerisation is carried out in an aqueous medium.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing polymer solutions and/or polymer dispersions by means of radical polymerization, and to the use of the produced polymers, in particular, as g as hydrate inhibitors.
