Abstract: A glass-clear nylon based on aromatic dicarboxylic acids and dialicyclic diamines is prepared by polycondensing isophthalic acid with a mixture of 3,3'-dimethyl-4,4'-diamino-dicyclohexylmethane and hexamethylenediamine. The nylons may be used for the production of moldings, especially by injection-molding.
