Abstract: A process for the production of polyolefin nano-composites involves the transition metal-catalysed polymerisation of 2-20C alk-1-enes or vinyl-aromatic compounds in presence of a dispersion of layered silicate(s). An Independent claim is also included for polyolefin nano-composites obtained by this process.
