    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject coating agent capable of forming a coat which has excellent wet abrasion resistance and hardly becomes dirty without using an expensive production method by including a specific aqueous polymer dispersion, inorganic pigment, etc., and bringing the pigment volume concentration to at least a specific value without essentially including any volatile organic solvent. SOLUTION: This coating agent is obtained by including (A) at least one kind of an aqueous polymer dispersion capable of forming a thin film at room temperature and containing at least one kind of a polymer made from (i) 80-99.95 mass % of at least one kind of monomer selected from e.g. acrylic esters each having a 2-20C alkanol or 5-10C cycloalkanol and (ii) 0.05-10 mass % of at least one kind of monomer selected from e.g. ethylene-based unsaturated carboxylic acids, (B) at least one kind of inorganic pigment or the like, (C) 0.05 to =10.
