Abstract: A magnetic recording material is produced using a dispersion of anisotropic magnetic material and additional material in a solution of a polymer binding agent and an organic fluid. The mixture is spread over the surface of a non magnetic corner and the magnetic particles are oriented by a magnetic filed. Te mixture has carbon containing water repellent polysilicic acid of 0.3 to 5 percent by weight in combination with 0il to 0.5 percent by weight high viscosity polysiloxane.
