Abstract: A protective container is provided for substantially cuboidal objects which is in the form of a hollow cuboid case which is open on one side. A case part is provided for covering the open side, the case part is U-shaped or partially U-shaped in this position. A closure arrangement is provided which connects the hollow cuboid case and the case part reveals when the container is opened for the first time. This container is especially well-suited for use with cassettes of all types, as well as other substantially cuboidal articles.
