Abstract: PURPOSE: To make the contact part between a case and a window inconspicuous visually by hiding a fixing parts offending the eye between both parts, especially, points of weldings and points of fusion weldings in a case having a window and in a viewing window for an opaque or transparent case of the part of the case. CONSTITUTION: Concerning a case, especially a tape cassette is provided with at least a window part 7 capable of being fixed to the cut part of a cabinet 6 at fixing part and constituted of a window part having parts whose transparency properties and different. The case or the cassette has such features, that parts, whose transparency properties are different, are constituted of a transparent, part 9 and a hiding part 10, and the part 10 hides at least the upper side of fixing parts.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To increase a protective function of tape cassettes by providing tape locking elements, which are at the bottom face of a parallel hexahedron container for tape cassettes, with arc-shaped ring segments which are roughly adapted to the drive orifice of the tape locking element. CONSTITUTION: A container 5 is composed of a bottom part 6 and a lid part 7 which are pivotally connected by a hinge means 17, the bottom part 6 is provided with locking spindles (locking elements) 9, 10, and the lid part 7 is provided with a cassette pocket 8. The bottom part 6 is provided with a notch 11 to which the front wall of the pocket 8 is fitted when the container 5 is closed. The container 5 houses a compact cassette K. This cassette K is provided with a drive orifice 18 in which a hub 20 with drive gears is arranged. In this drive orifice 18, the locking elements 9, 10 are pushed which consists of a ring segment 21, a longitudinal web 22, and a center peg 23. The ring segment 21 is formed in an ark shape roughly adapted to the circular shape of the drive orifice 18.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reproduce the outside envelope contour of a casing section made higher by providing respective projecting parts at the casing section. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the casing half of a compact cassette K1, casing sections 45 and 46, of which the inside is made flat, extended into the range of higher casing sections 10a and 10b respectively have the projecting parts formed as rib sections 47 outside. The rib section 47 is composed of a short rib 48 and U-shaped, for example, ribs 49a and 49b longer than the section of a tape recorder existent inside the range of an opening 50 for positioning. The front side plane of a front wall 6 is extended by full face extension parts 51a and 51b within this range so as to reach the standard height of higher casing sections of the compact cassette.
