    Abstract: PURPOSE: To produce a cassette provided with indication members which are operated easily and surely, obtained by improving so-called, indicaton member capable of inhibiting the erasing and recording of written information and, moreover, capable of the releasing the inhibition as necessary. CONSTITUTION: A case having an upper part wall, a bottom part wall, a front wall, a rear wall and both side walls, is provided and an opening 13 is formed on at least one wall surface of the front wall, the rear wall and the both side walls. Displacable indication members 5, 29, 30 closing at least partially the opening 13 are provided in the cassette and at least one hook part of the indication members grasps the wall surface part of the case. The indicaton parts 5, 29, 30 are displaced by a hook part 7 by being guided on inner walls 8, 32 and the inner walls are provided by forming an angle α with respect to the rear wall 14 in the case. As a result, the indicaton members 5, 29, 30 are made to be displaced in the case in an opening direction along an inclined moving path.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To surely reduce attraction force based on static electricity by providing an antistatic material on a part or the whole of at least the surface of the inner wall of a cover flap and making the surface resistance value be smaller than a specified value. CONSTITUTION: A front side inner wall 15 provided with hatching for which a metal processing is indicated over the entire surface, an upper side inner wall 16 and side walls 17 and 18 are indicated. Then, since the front side inner wall 15 is arranged almost parallelly to a tape 14 near the tape when the cover flap 13 is closed, it is very advantageous when the front side inner wall 15 is provided with a layer made of the antistatic material for partially or entirely covering the inner wall. Further, the upper side inner wall 16, and the side part inner walls 17 and 18 as well depending on a case, are similarly processed. In this case, by making the resistance value of the surface of the antistatic material be smaller than 10 Ω, the influence of the static electricity is weakened and the damage of the tape or the like is prevented.

Then, a tape 3 is passed from a hub 1 through a guiding pin 22 and a deflecting roller 14, passed through guiding webs 24 and 15 formed as flat webs, pinch roller 13, guiding web 16 and guiding pin 17 to the center line (q) and further traveled to the hub 2 in reverse order.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To attach or exchange a cleaning member after a casing is assembled by attaching a distinct supplement part which can be fixed to the casing to its front wall and having the cleaning member on a rear face of the supplement part. CONSTITUTION: Openings for inserting or cutout spaces 7A and 7B are provided on a front wall band 6A-6B between a head approach opening 4a of a cassette C and front wall openings 4b and 4c, and a distinct supplement part 8 is fixedly attached. To the rear face of the supplement part 8, a cleaning member 21 is fixedly attached. A supplement part 8 which is provided with a new cleaning member 21 is attached and the supplement part 8 itself is exchanged. Furthermore, it is desirable that a cleaning member 21 is a band cleaning mat which consists of felt, fleece or velvet materials.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce height of a container without changing direction of inserting a cassette into the container by using the container with a rectangular parallelepiped form having a decreasing wall thickness along its transverse axis for a compact cassette with an elevated head. CONSTITUTION: A container for a tape cassette has a bottom wall 7 and a lid 8, which is formed with a pocket 11 for admitting a head 9 of the cassette 6. The pocket 11 has its front wall 12. A lid wall 13 of the lid 8 reduces its wall thickness d in the direction from its externally longitudinal edge L to the pocket 11. Namely, the wall thickness d gradually decreases from the edge L to portion A and slightly increases again from A to B portion. Therefore, the thickness is thinnest at A and discontinuously reduced at the orthogonal cross-lines. Accordingly, there appears a slanting rectangular-parallelepiped receiving space V within external shapes of the wall 13 and 14, and the whole container can reduce its height.
