Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an effective magnetic head purifying cassette by providing at least one flexible hollow body for a purifying liquid and one distributing conduit in a container and providing a valve device between the hollow body and the conduit. CONSTITUTION: A purifying cassette R is formed with a casing consisting of an upper half part 1 and a lower half part 2, and a spool 3, a spool break 4 and a bellows closed body 5 are provided within the casing. A purifying tape 6 is wound around the spool 3, a storage tank 7 for a purifying medium and purifying liquid such as an isopropanol or the like is arranged so as to enclose the spool 3 and closed with a closing cap 8. The tank is connected to the inside of the bellows hollow body 5 via a feeding conduit, a distributing conduit 9, a valve device, a magnetic valve 10 or the like. The hollow body 5 is connected to a distributing cap 11, the pore space for communicating the distributing conduit 9 and a suction conduit 12 is provided in the cap 11, the storage tank 7 and the hollow body 5 are communicated via suction conduit 12, and the storage tank 7 is communicated to the open air with the magnetic valve 14 without passing through the magnetic valve 14 and the conduit.

Abstract: A cleaning cassette R for cleaning the magnetic heads of a cassette player, comprising a container 5, 7 for cleaning fluid, a partially flexible hollow body 5, at least one valve device 10, 14 and a feed channel 9 for feeding the cleaning fluid to cleaning means 6, e.g. a cleaning tape. The cleaning system can be used for drives intended to drive tape cassettes or disk cassettes.
