Abstract:
This invention relates to a process for producing superabsorbent foams comprising the steps of foaming an aqueous mixture comprising at least one monoethylenically unsaturated monomer bearing acid groups, at least one blowing agent, at least one crosslinker and at least one surfactant, polymerizing the foamed mixture and drying the polymerized mixture, to the foams and also to their use for absorbing aqueous fluids.
Abstract:
A superabsorbent foam contains at least 1% by weight, based on the total weight of the dry foam, of an inorganic powdery solid and carries graphical symbols on at least one of its surfaces. Said foam can be obtained by a method which is characterized by polymerizing a foamed monomer mixture that contains a corresponding amount of the inorganic solid in a mold that carries graphical symbols on at least one of its inner surfaces.
Abstract:
Mixture (A) comprises pieces of open-cell aminoplastic foam material with an average diameter of 50 mu m to 5 mm (average weight), water, at least one surfactant and optionally an oil phase or a fat phase. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for cleaning surfaces comprising using (A) as the cleaning agent and (2) the preparation of (A).
