The invention relates to etheramines of formula (I) or formula (II) or a mixture of etheramines of formula (I) and formula (II) based on 1,2-dialcohols, wherein R1 is a linear or branched alkyl group with 2 to 16 carbon atoms, R 2 is a hydrogen or an alkyl group with 1 to 16 carbon atoms, x≥1 and y≥1 and the sum of x+y is between 2 and 10, and A 1 , A 2 , A 3 and A 4 are independently selected from the group consisting of linear and/or branched alkylenes having 2 to 18 carbon atoms and wherein Z 1 -Z 4 are independently selected from OH, NH 2 , NHR' or NR'R", wherein at least one of Z 1 -Z 2 and at least one of Z 3 -Z 4 is NH 2 , NH R' or NR'R", wherein R' and R" are independently selected from alkylenes having 2 to 6 carbon atoms. This invention relates to polyetheramines based on 1,3-dialcohols, in particular to an etheramine mixture comprising at least 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the etheramine mixture, of anamine of Formula (I) and/or (II), wherein R 1 -R 12 are independently selected from H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, or arylalkyl, wherein at least one of R 1 -R 6 and at least one of R 7 -R 12 is different from H, wherein A 1 -A 9 are independently selected from linear or branched alkylenes having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, preferably 2-10 carbon atoms, most preferably 2-5 carbon atoms, wherein Z 1 -Z 4 are independently selected from OH or NH 2 , wherein at least one of Z 1 -Z 2 and at least one of Z 3 -Z 4 is NH 2 , and wherein the sum of x+y is in the range of from 2 to 200, wherein x≥1 and y≥1;and x 1 +y 1 is in the range of from 2 to 200, preferably 2-20, most preferaby 2-10, wherein x 1 ≥1 and y 1 ≥1.

The present invention relates to water-soluble alkoxylated polyalkyleneimines having an inner block of polyethylene oxide comprising 5 to 18 polyethylene oxide units, a middle block of polyalkylene oxide comprising 1 to 5 polyalkylene oxide units and an outer block of polyethylene oxide comprising 2 to 14 polyethylene oxide units. The middle block is formed from polypropylene oxide units, polybutylene oxide units and/or polypentene oxide units. In addition, the present invention relates to water-soluble alkoxylated polyamines.
